Ginger Roots & The Protectors are a reggae roots band from Encinitas, CA that was formed in 2012 by frontman Chase (Ginger Roots) and brother Spencer Brokaw. With their roots melodies, worldly lyrics and electric look, Ginger Roots continues to gain traction in the Reggae scene. They have opened for reggae greats Steel Pulse, Ziggy Marley, Julian Marley, Stephen Marley, Barrington Levy, Pato Banton, and Israel Vibrations, among many others. Ginger Roots has a strong presence in the studio as well, with recording sessions at Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica and also Fully Fullwood’s Kitchen.
