Ginger Roots and The Protectors are a reggae roots band from Encinitas, CA that was Formed in 2012 by frontman Chase (Ginger Roots) and  brother Spencer Brokaw.  The Protectors, the band, is made up by Spencer on percussion, Fully Fullwood on Bass, Stevie Verhault on guitar, Santa Davis on drums, John Avery on Sax and Alex Somerville on Keys along with more. With their roots melodies, worldly lyrics and electric look Ginger Roots continues to gain traction in the Reggae scene. So far in their short career, they have opened for reggae greats like Steel Pulse, Ziggy Marley, Julian Marley, Stephen Marley, Barrington Levy, Pato Banton, Israel Vibrations among many others. Ginger Roots has a strong presence in the studio as well, with recording sessions at Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica and also Fully Fullwoods Kitchen.
