Enter an evening of sophistication and soul at the Bornemann Theatre.  Myron McKinley — Rebirth of the Cool transports you to the heyday of “cool jazz,” where timeless allure meets modern song. Each note evokes the stylish charm of tailored suits and elegant dresses, offering a contemporary take on classic jazz sophistication. 

Before diving into the concert’s captivating sounds, treat yourself to a culinary adventure at Common Grounds Cafe. Explore a select-menu carefully crafted for the occasion, each dish a masterpiece designed to tantalize your taste buds and evoke the golden age of jazz.

After dining, head to the Bornemann Theatre for McKinley’s performance. His virtuosity pays homage to jazz legends, infusing their essence into every melody. Accompanied by a talented ensemble, McKinley recreates the intimate atmosphere of 1950s jazz clubs.

Dinner at 6:00 pm followed by Concert at 8:00 pm (dinner sold separately and not required to attend concert).

Myron McKinley — Music Director and Keyboardist for Earth, Wind & Fire

McKinley has toured with Grammy award winner Whitney Houston (World Tour), Kenny Lattimore (For You, World Tour), Stanley Clarke, En Vogue (World Tour), and has toured as the Musical Director for Philip Bailey (Japan Tour), Cherokee (Polo Tour), Doc Powell (Smooth Jazz Tour), Shai (World Tour) and currently, for the last twelve years, serves as the Musical Director for Grammy award winners and pop music giants Earth, Wind and Fire, while also touring with his own incomparable band, The Myron McKinley Trio, which twice toured as United States Jazz Ambassador to Suriname, both to perform and teach, and for a second year in a row, brought the house down at Carnegie Hall.
